In world Cup 2014 they score goals easily (Please don't angry GKR , I don't mean Brazil team) |
Thats all right, we already passed this to national dessapointment to national joke.
Today, when something got wrong, we say "everyday is a different 7X1".

Hi. Believe me I don't want to mention to that game. I am a Germany fan but as other Iranian football fans I love Brazil. ABADAN is a city in Iran and they have a football team in league named : Sana'at Naft of Abadan (oil company of abadan FC). They call their team "Brazil" and they bring Brazil flags in stadium . Few month earlier one document film group came Iran from Brazil and make a Documentary film about ABADAN football fans.
We have many Brazilian head coach and Football players in Iran. Our "Beach Football" (I don't know is it correct word or not!!) national team head coach is from Brazil. I don't want to upset you and this is very important for me bro.

No really, I'am not upset at all. Iam happy (and surprised) to see so much admiration you guys have for brazilian football. I'am the kind of guy who doesnt take that too seriously, actually. Thats why I mention the fact that its already a folk joke around here remebering the 7X1. Its all fine.

Turkey are the best third and automatically qualify. Horrible performance by the Netherlands, how do they finish fourth in a group? Horrendous. |
Unexpected match. I saw that live in TV. I choose this game between this and Italy vs. Norway. I thought Netherlands show great performance but as you said HORRIBLE performance. I wish I could see that one game!!

Here I see people talking about their countries making it to big competitions while my country has just been suspended from the FIFA. And we almost had a AFC CUP final with two Kuwaiti teams. That's not gonna happen now. Gotta love Kuwait, man.

^ Yes. I listened about that. Kuwait team had a great history. We (Iran and Kuwait) had great matches. Iran suspended from the FIFA too but we solve our problems. Why you can't solve that? and Why you suspend by FIFA?

Alright!! Our national team played two last matches this year (friendly games) with two teams that will play on European Championship next year. After 4:2 with Iceland on Friday today we beat Czech Rep. 3:1.

Well, what do you think? Which group is the toughest (the "death group") and which one's the easiest? Which one's the most interesting?

hah!! Poor Poland.. will they ever escape being grouped with Germany some really interesting brackets there Bartek. toughest.. I'm going against the common thought (which is E) and saying it is D. Spain better be on top of its game or it isnt making it out of that group. All 4 are valid knockout stage teams where E has one relative cake walk.

love that.. Germany Poland Ukraine.. random draw? My ass While Italy is my adopted home country and my primary rooting interest Group C is the one has the genealogical interest for me. Family immigrated here to the states from the Ukraine, of Polish Ancestry, yet with a German surname. So who to root for...not the Germans.. not the Ukrainians.. so it is the Poles!
