That had nothing to do with the previous comments. Plus, I responded to your post immediately, while it took you easily over 10 minutes for you to post this.

You sure about that? Wink

Right now, I'm getting out the classical guitar for the first time in months, and gonna write some Spanishy Jazzy latin-y stuff.

Sounds like an awesome idea to me. Gonna record it or write the music on sheets or just mess around?

I don't have a mic... I normally record stuff straight through a guitar preamp.
My classical guitar is not of the electric/classical acoustic, so unless I get a mic, I can't record it.
Obviously, nothing stops me from doing it on electric guitar, but that doesn't sound very authentic classical guitar.

Oh, okay. That does sound like it'd be pretty cool. I have an electric and a classical acoustic.

I only have one guitar, tuned to E standard.
In order to actually play the whole song, I need a detuned guitar to C# standard (my guitar isn't set up with the right string gauges for doing that) or a 7 string and transpose it (which will make playing it harder).

Since the song was played with guitars in C# standard, the finger stretches for the guitar solo become more difficult, which is part of the extra challenge I put upon myself from playing in E standard.
