I'm not sure the most melodic band should win. Not because they are more melodic anyway.

From what I've heard of TMV I'd say, not really. But I am stilling willing to try with TMV.

And that's exactly the thing that's wrong with prog these days imho. In the 70s prog had a lot of positivity, especially Yes with Jon's spirituality (although one may rightfully point out there was, and is, not much peace among the band members themselves), and nowadays all that positivity is replaced by cold negative emotionless crap. And I blame Roger Waters and Steven Wilson for it. It's even more infuriating that bands who do try to be positive, such as The Flower Kings or Spock's Beard, are being ridiculed. Well excuse me, if progressive means to be emotionless, then I'd rather not be progressive at all.
