Does it matter? I don't think either of them is strictly prog.

So what are we talking about? Is it the right post? Well, I'm only joking, ignore me and feel free to continue your discussion.

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

I love Annie Haslam's voice but her solo works out of Renaisance are really crap. Worse than Phil Collins, believe me.

I simply shall not discuss this with you any longer. I also want to mention Diablo Swing Orchestra's female vocalist who's name escapes me.

What's the name of the girl who plays percussions in Mike Oldfield's Millennium Concert and with David Gilmour And Pete Townshend at the Rockpalast? (A great solo on Blue Light)

Largely agree except that Rockalise off Annie in Wonderland is the best thing she ever did, far better than any Renaissance, not so much compositionally but singing-wise (and personally I don't listen to Renaissance so much for the compositional aspects where they are not so interesting). She also interpreted the traditional funeral song Going Home magnificently in that album.

Jane Duboc did excellent job in Bacamarte, but my vote goes to Clare Torry for classic The great gig in the sky

I voted for Annie Haslam, but I almost voted for "Whom have I forgotten?", which would represent a vote for Ruth Underwood.

Not sure if mentioned over 8 pages but no Maggie Reilly? Just for her singing on Mike Oldfield tunes. She may have a wonderful voice but I recommend avoiding her solo albums, unless you like anonymous programmed computer pop of course.
But for her work with the Oldfield fellow, marvellous....
