I like how the Velvet Underground beats Mozart on your list : ) Not that i don't agree, it's just that so many members would have a fit if they saw it, haha! (if they had actually HEARD VU, that is...)

Dude...you ever listen to Duran Duran's first two albums? Absolute jems....this coming from me...a total prog-geek. Absolute stellar basslines...some of the greatest and edgiest pop tunes ever.
