Josh, relax. When you don't complain, you're cool. Just have confidence in yourself. Hell, I got rejected, and it's the best thing that's ever happened to me!!!! I can talk to girls whenever I want now!!!!

Magma is scaring me now. Mr. Vander, your falsetto is creeping me out.

What he said. It's important that you believe in yourself and have confidence in yourself.Smile

You got MDK on, don't you, Alex?Wink

Psssht...I'm f**king sick of this "believe in yourself and everything will be better" sh*t I'm fed all the time....I went through a period where I actually believed in myself, and it all got shot to hell, you don't even want to know how desperate I was after that.....let's just say I'm in psychotherapy for a very good reason. I hate myself, but I'm learning to hate everyone else too, so I should be good. Besides, I spent way too much time in the VR complaining, now I've got time to do other stuff that I should be doing like guitar and what not

/\ last negative post I'll make in this thread too

I like talking to you on the VR. I remember thinking: "this kid is pretty cool" a while back. And I still think that kid is there. Just stop being a martyr and realize we've all been (or are) there. Don't leave, just try to be happier. Happiness is the true key to life, and laughter is the key to love (came up with that on the spot!).

Very nice, almost sounds deepWink

And to be honest, I don't want to be seen as a "martyr" or whatever, usually when I type that stuff out I'm incredibly angry at myself and looking for a way out, still haven't found it.....but at least after all of this rebuttal I'll know never to bring it up here or in the VR anymore.....never served me any good anyways, and it was ten times worse for everyone else

The blues is the greatest way to vent. I mean, you have to be so emotional that you cry when you play, and this somewhat works. I don't do it often because it really is only for true depression (and I save it for recording).

I'm finding other ways to vent, in fact I haven't made really a single complaint in the VR (other than in tounge and cheek) but all the same people seem to just generally dislike anything I say, so I'm just gonna keep out of it

Guys! The whole point of this thread was lost. I started it just to tell my opinion which was the fact that everybody in the VR seemed sad these days.

It was my point and I just wanted to make a move to change that. I know we can have fun in the VR and I certainly don't want this thread to replace the VR. I was just proposing that we should try to move on from our daily problems and see the VR as a place to get our kicks and forget about our life's problem for a while.

Now that my point is known to everyone, I don't mind at all returning to the VR.

BTW, Josh and Arrrghus, if you leave now, THAT wiil ruin the VR. Your presence there is perfectly okay with me and I have nothing against you. I miss the days when Josh sent me his guitar experiments.

Smile

RIP in bossa nova heaven.
