Maybe the Texans have learned what many of us (I sure as hell did) already thought: Giving a $72 million contract to someone who played 8 games and was only solid, maybe isn't a great idea?
Bit of a sad note, Arian Foster has announced his retirement. Loved that guy, beast player and his embrace of intellectualism meant a lot to me. Shame what injuries did.

Cardinals vs Seahawks 6 - 6.
Two short field goals lost in the extra time, simply unbelievable.
Both teams deserved to loose.

Both teams deserved to win. An epic defensive battle. The lowest scoring tie in NFL history. Two missed field goals due to intense pressure. Pete Carroll said after the game the kicker is still our guy. I don't know how they judge things in Peru but here in Seattle we judge things on how much heart was put into play. Before you send any red ink or Latin my way, you are not my teacher and I am not a Catholic. I have been watching football for 60 plus years

Was a pretty lame week, all the games seemed sluggish or something. I did enjoy the Cardinals/Hawks game as it reminded me of some of the old defensive struggle games of yesteryear.
Steelers D got burned by Darth Belichick and company, not surprised. Without Ben too, although Landry did not play bad.
Getting tired of not so good play on those Thursday night games....

Yeah...Landry didn't look completely inept, which is progress!
As for Thursday...at least this week you get Titans V Jags to solve all those bad football ills!

Shame about foster. Would've been a hall of famer if he could've stayed healthy IMO.

In a way, a tie is like a loss in that they both missed out on an extra W, which could come back to haunt them. |
In a way it's true, maybe because I'm used to soccer where the tie is a desirable result when you visit another team, has made me overvalue the importance of a tie.
At the end I'm only a soccer fan who has learned to love American Football for the last 20 years.
But if in the case of soccer you loose a penalty throwing it 2 meter above the goal or in American Football you throw a 23 yards kick 10 meters to the left, I believe you don't deserve to win.

Well...I already forsaw this. But Brady is indeed out for blood....angry at the world for his ohhh so unfair everyone hates us treatment That said, I said before the season they are favs to win the SB in my book and have to be still. We shall see as the season wears on and they, hopefully, play some better teams, but yeah no doubt they are at the top of my list to win it all. Especially with no other team really impressing me in an "all facets" aspect.
Giants on bye so they can't lose! Hopefully all heal up. That secondary is playing damn good, strongest part of our time. Hope they stay healthy.
Looking forward to GB/Atlanta!

What a game from Carr. Crazy he was a second rounder all because, assumedly, he has less pizazz..but what a QB. Dude is legit. Pretty damn good WR duo too

Giants beat the Eagles
Our secondary is the strongest part, and supposedly Vernon has been playing with a broken hand. Maybe the bye allowed some healing.

Matthew Stafford is clutch AF this year. Shout out to Prater, too, for nailing a 58 yarder like it was nothing.

I know Prater has a bad(?) rep, or so it seems, but he was pretty darn good from what I can tell over his career. Yeah, Stafford has really developed into a good QB, something I wasn't sure was ever gunna happen honestly. But taken yet another step this year into great territory I'd say

The return of Percy Harvin. Seattle hopefully will be ready for him. A talented guy with a big chip on his shoulder.

With losses by the Vikings and Packers, the Lions take a bye week 'W' and take 1st place in the division. \m/

I like it when the Patriots go down. It might be my favorite. I liked watching Gronk taking a big hit from Chancellor and Earl Thomas.

Steelers defense laid another egg against the Cowboys and cost us the win (plus an offensive fumble). Not to mention going for 2 extra points the whole game and not getting a one!
Hawks looks like they are revving up into high gear, the O line is coming together.

The north is sure full of tanking machines. I believe the lions have a legitimate chance to win it.

Giants win! 6-3 on the year. ....Holy sh*t the Giants are 6-3 lol and they are currently 2nd in the division with a win over the Eagles and Cowboys. Maybe this year will be decent after all. And to think they were 2-3 and playing like sh*t.
I was really starting to wonder if Vernon was a bust, but since he was supposedly playing with a broken hand, maybe the bye week has allowed him to rest up. Collins seems to be developing nicely. Eli has gotten a little pick happy again but ya know what, if it means he'll have more of that killer instinct, I'll take it.
