I was. Until a couple of months before I turned 18. It was my own decision to start drinking at parties then and nothing secretive about it whatsoever. I just made it clear to my parents, and at that age, they didn't object.

I didn't know you were actually edge as such, just that you didn't really drink or anything, whereas Henry is 'teh real deal' edge.
If you mean me, I'm not really straight edge in the sense of buying into their whole culture because they are silly. I just don't do anything interesting. And Tylenol is one of my best friends so I'm not sure I could even be super straight edge.

I used to get terrible headaches a lot, although I was never diagnosed with migraines or anything like that. That mostly went away but it still happens often enough for me to be grateful for better living through chemistry.

Well Wikipedia tells me wearing black is part of being straight edge, so I was just saying, since I was only joking about being straight edge anyway (except that I do in fact do not drink, smoke, or sex). 

A date is not a complex idea in America, maybe it's different down under. ;-) 

Harry, you are right, the post count is addictive, and it makes me sad that such a thing still has power over me.
