I haven't listened to any Lost Tapes this week - I've been locked into Jandek mode lately.  Anything that isn't atonal just doesn't sound quite right. Wacko

When a child asks politely,
"Where's Waldo?"
The appropriate answer is not
"In a box,
Knife in his head,
Waldo Jeffers
Is most certainly dead."

"That schmuck..." said Sheila.

That reminds me, I was in a debate/public speaking class in high school, and I chose "The Gift" as a piece to read before the class.  I finished and they were like, "That's it? What the heck was that? That's no ending!"LOL

I love it when I'm in the car and have that playing and I switch from left to right speakers and on the left it's Cale reciting it and on the right it's that awesome jam. Sounds kind of funny when those are on their own. LOL

Man, I hope I get a career in writing. I basically have to get it going before I'm out of college because after that I'll have to get a real job. The pressure is on.

I like writing, but only when I feel like it.  If it were my job I'm sure I'd hate it.  I need the structure of a 9 to 5 job.

Yeah, forcing myself to write doesn't do much good for me

Just a few months ago we were reminiscing about Rob's Gladiator thread, and now he's made another.

I never really force myself to write but I do put a ton of work into it. I'd like to get paid for that. Ouch

Ture, that sounds like you'd be a good writer. It's possible that I could write at a steady pace if I didn't feel horrible all the time.

I write best when I feel horrible. LOL Kind of ironic, some of the quirky things I write when I feel like sh*t.

I find it odd you can do anything productive while feeling horrible.
