that may be the best of the six

That's strange; usually I-III are dissed by those who enjoy the Star Wars series.

I'm one of those who think I-III are superior to the original trilogy (well, at least II and III), with III being the best film of the lot.  And the icon of the saga, episode IV is my least favorite, it's really kind of boring and generic, as adventure stories go.  Empire was much better, and Jedi was ok, but like Menace, it suffered from a very weak middle.  There was a lot more going on in the prequels, more political machinations, the fall of a hero, and lots of Jedi/Sith stuff.  The OT didn't really have as much of that.  And come on, blowing up a death star twice in three movies?  Sleepy
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Friends - "The One in Vegas, pt. 1/2" alternating with Beginners (with Ewan McGregor). Jesus H. Christ, that guy had to take care of so much s$%t upon the time of his dad's passing: the taxes, the certificate of death, the mortgage, ... .

I know, I'm a rare breed;  I actually think the prequels are better films overall for plot and creativity

^I like the prequels too, but better than IV-VI? Not IMO.

Anyway, before: Big Bang Theory and Grey's Anatomy.
Now: Private Practice.

Hayao Miyazaki's Castle of Cagliostro, an adventure of Lupin III (1978).

Just found it on the TV while zapping from channel to channel. My Saturday evening isn't ruined.
