Damn it, I've forgotten what that old Anime series I used to watch was.  It wasn't truly Anime anyhow.

Yes, but that's the kind of anime that makes Americans think that anime sucks. And if that was the only kind of anime, they would be right.

Yeah but it had nearly naked chicks in like, every episode.
Nearly naked chicks that weren't hot. Unlike Haruko....

That's probably one of the least hot pictures of her in the show.

RICKENBACKER 4001 Heart
But the protagonist gets a Gibson at the end of the show. It's just meh.

I remember having to sit through that show. Every episode was the same. This was the episode structure.
Drama
Find bad guy
Fight bad guy
Almost die
Miraculously win in the end
More drama
Ending credits

As I said earlier, Death Note is my favourite anime.

Death Note is probably the 2nd best anime series ever.
I thought so as well until
L died
and then the show went to Dead for me.

I understand that.

Near was nothing compared to him

I've seen Astro Boy but I'm not sure if it was the original 1960s series or the 1980s remake.  I'm guessing the latter, as it was in the 1990s that I saw it.

You all talk about Anime to someone who has no clue about Anime and then when I mention I have actually seen a Manga series, you have no idea what I'm talking about. LOL

But aye, the series with the boy in.
