No, but I was interested in the weather (as if I couldn't just wait and see the next day).

Still have yet to make out any story arc for the season though.  Are they even doing an arc this year?  I've heard there will be no double episodes, so maybe not.  But after last years ending, I was expecting one.

They announced that Amy and Rory were leaving the show months before the new season started,so I was expecting that.

Moffat stated that there wouldn't really be any story arc,no 2 parters and more closed episodes.

And the new companion will be Jenna-Louise Coleman:

Not bad but Karen Gillan is hotter.TongueWink

I've been doing that a lot lately- listening to music or podcasts when a game is on...

Yeah, I knew Amy and Rory were leaving the show.  I remember him saying about the no 2-parters, but wasn't sure if there would be a story arc or not.  The end of last season though seemed to indicate that something would be coming soon for the Doctor, which I assumed to be his regeneration at the end of this season, but maybe not.

Yeah, she isn't bad, and her portrayal of Oswin in Dinosaurs was all right.  So, I'm sure she'll be a fine companion, but Karen Gillan is hotter.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Before: The Bone Collector.

Now: Star Wars, Episode III. Not that I'm really enjoying it; it's just that there is nothing else on TV.

That's strange; usually I-III are dissed by those who enjoy the Star Wars series.

Now: Monkey Shines.

Jaws. I still don't understand what the big deal is. The music blows, ... the attempts to simulate a real shark were pretty impressive, though.
