Every GTA game I've played is a f**king cakewalk, while Driver gets nice and tough near the end.

But RPGs aren't inherently as violent. Besides, they're a fantasy setting mostly. Oh and they're tactical. I'm not saying there's not tactics in GTA, I'm sure there is... but it's not what I want to play.
Most people I've seen play GTA just go out and shoot people, rather than doing the missions that don't involve shooting people.

Back when I played Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, etc. I would sometimes start sympathising with the NPCs, so I would try to kill as few as possible.

I remember when I played Driver as a small child and I couldn't even beat the opening thing. I remember it was inside a parkade and you had to do a bunch of stuff... Anyway, I was young and inexperienced then. Now I bet if I attempted it'd be cake for me.

I always loved Symphony of the Night. I actually really, really like the 3D ones too. Does anyone else like those ones?

I say Castle of the Moon, but that's the only one I've played.

You can actually complete the original Fallout without killing anyone, if you have the correct character. Now that's cool.

It's not peace in Fallout either... it's just you can play it in such a way as to not kill anyone if you so desire.

Thats actually pretty awesome.
And why are there never children in GTA, Fable, Elder Scrolls, Assassins Creed, and all games where you can kill randoms? I'll just assume they don't wanna simulate killing children.

Even in the FPS I play, I find it much more fun (and hilarious) to get the other team to accidentally TK each other, usually by camping their base and then running in circles around them so they accidentally shoot themselves.

Or make the children (and other innocent civilians) invincible like some games do.

I am using that Split screen applet for Firefix and still I can see everyone's signature in full. Matt's monitor must really be full of fail.

Yeah. Like in the first Fable, there ARE children, but the only place they're in is the place where you can't actually kill anyone because you can't bring weapons.

Or some games (too many IMO) you can just shoot them and they'll hold their head but they'll never die so you can just shoot them all you want. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

nah much as I like the violence and gore, games that have the option are cool. If not it may be a bit dull, but I like games where you can GTA or Splinter Cell.... Which Splinter Cell 1,2 and 3 (though 1 was best) kicked ass
