Ah. That last one is funny because sadly, it's so true... With all the talk of madness in Iran, the struggles of Obama and his various plans, the economy we need some fun stories. Well the fun continues! SC Governor Mark Sanford just got up and left and was gone for 6 days, during which NO ONE has had any contact with him and few knew where he was. We were told he as walking the Appalachian Trail....apparently he was actually in Argentina....... I can't wait to see this press conference. I'll give him made kudos if the press conference was "OK, who would like to see some slides from my trip?" Ultimate middle finger to the media

WELL, the chaos is settled.
Sanford left to Argentina without telling anyone because he was seeing another woman.... And yet ANOTHER Republican has fallen to the extra marital affair. So much for the party of morality eh?

It's a simple formula:
If you ever see a politician that fights too vehemently against gay rights, he's gay.
If you ever see one constantly claiming to defend family values, he's a cheater.
If you ever see one bashing others for lack of morals, he's a depraved person.
And if any of these things happen, he's a republican.
(Democrats are not saints or morally superior... they just DON'T SAY THEY ARE).

By the way, from my post it might be inferred that being gay and being morally superior are opposite things... that's wrong.... It just happens that republicans say gay people are morally inferior, and curiously, those who say it the most are usuallh gayer than all gays put together.
Hypocrisy is the word I'm looking for...

Yup, and if we want to pile on the hypocrisy even more:
Apparently, Sanford was a HIGHLY critical of Clinton, calling for his resignation saying what he did was wrong and lying is even worse.....
And before anyone says it: I know the Democrats have their share of extra marital affairs. Elliot Spitzer made his career on fighting prostitution before he got busted on a massive prostitution scandal. However, the Democrats don't constantly throw around God, family values, and morality....

I think I support the enlightened anarchy form of government. But not smash-things-and-burn-stuff anarchy, just lack of government. I support evolution, and I think people were designed to work and live in small communities, so such huge amounts of people shouldn't controlled by a single government. I support small, clan-based operations. That is all.

That is very true. But again when it happens to Democrats it's almost like, "oh yeah well you know there are all shady immoral people anyway, of course" Republicans are supposed to represent family values? I mean Sanford and Ensign are the latest. David Vitter of LA ran into some moral issues, but the Republicans actually said they would let it go...since the state had a Democratic governor.....that's REALLY being moral..... And Clinton was truly something else. But do I have to say NEWT GINGRICH. The head of the new wave, uber conservative moral Republicans, the guy who relentlessly bashed Clinton had an extra marital affair. Also, he divorced his one wife while she was in the hospital with cancer. Sorry, but that's more f*cked up then Clinton.

Ironically Sanford went after Clinton for Monica. I guess it's only ok if you leave the country to have sexual relations with someone.

Well the Republicans aren't really TRUE conservatives like they used to be.
What happened to the days of non-interventionism, protecting civil liberties, opposition to welfare and all that?
I always do laugh at the Gay Marriage debate whenever some one plays the whole, "protecting the sanctity of marriage". With over 50% of them ending in divorce and the self-proclaimed party of Family Values have had several....moral lapses lately??? Sanctity of marriage my ass

Not the first time Fox did that. It was Mark Foley...they labeled him as (D) TOTALLY by accident I am sure. And yes Henry we get it...you're different man. You always have the "other" opinion that is out there from the rest. You hate everything, we f*cking get it.

FauxNews aways does that. They really must think that the people watching them are that stupid not to know that Sanford isn't a Republican. FauxNews:Fair and Balanced when it comes to what we want to report.

Well, Sanford DID apologize to his mistress before his wife. Perhaps more than just a fling? But anyway, the fox thing isn't new. They also "accidentally" labeled Mark Foley as a Democrat. So if they can't twist the news, just label the wrongdoers as Democrats. There are bound to be people out there stupid enough to not know better. OR, you can just use photoshop to make your enemies look silly.... HOW THE F*CK IS THIS "NEWS" CHANNEL STILL ON!?!?
