I think you got it Fassbinder, just found this in Wikipedia:

Quote In the Books of Samuel, Uriah the Hittite is a soldier in King David's army. David has him killed after David's apparent adultery with his wife Bathsheba.[1]

I guess that is a famous story, but I never got around too the bible much....

Actually, I was thinking as follows:

I don't remember any famous Suzannah. Instead, I remember the famous story of Uriah, whose wife betrayed him with the king (more precisely, king David took Uriah's wife, whereas Uriah himself was sent into war).

Then I searched for "heep" in a dictionary, but coudn't find it. Instead, I found "heap", which fits the second part of the riddle, "pile gone wrong" (pile=heap).

The name of the wife, however, seems to be Bathsheba (Bat-Sheva in contemporary Hebrew, meaning "7 years old (fem.)")

Bathsheba came to my mind, but I figured it had nothing to do with Suzannah (whoever that is)

spot on, Fassbinder. and I have to apologize for confusing Betsheba with Suzannah Embarrassed. Bethseba of course was the wife of Uriah. Kind David's eye had fallen on her, so in a battle he sent him to a place where he was sure to die.
a pile that has gone slightly wrong is of course a heap.....pardon, heep.

I confused the names because of a certain saying about "surprising Suzannah in the bath".  Embarrassed my apologies again

Los Lobos aren't "twice", they are "many times" (is there such a word -- "multifold"???).

Besides this, are they Mediterranean?

Despite that it's not my turn and my first venture on this thread, let me throw one out there:

Tim Allen.

That's also a Bible story, not many pages away from the Betsheba story. You weren't far from the your actual point.

The logic behind Tool is that Tim Allen was the star of Home Improvement, which in turn featured a show called Tool Time, which Allen's character was the host of. Also, he could just think that Tim Allen is a tool

Of course. Greece is in the Med. I kept looking for real breeds of dogs. I'm not sure where shoal comes in, but well done Dean!

"Shual" (with a "u") is Hebrew for "fox"...
