I guess time will tell, but I don't think this wave of protest has nearly the depth of the '79 revolution.

I mean in that case the government was viciously opposed from top to bottom. The clerics, wealthy, middle class, and poor.
That is not the case here, the poor I believe still support Ahmadinejad not to mention he has the backing of the clerics. Which in Iran pretty much means he's not going anywhere.

I hope I never see the day when that many Palin's are running around.

And my entry into politics has begun!
Since im a PL SC major I figured it'd be good to have some experience so I volunteered to help the Jon Corzine campaign for the NJ Governor race. I don't really like what he's done but the experience would be great.
Damn, I'm one minute into a political career and already torn up inside LOL

Ah yes, I actually gave Bush some credit.

As he said, he didn't like being criticized by a former President, so he wouldn't either.
Well so much for that LOL

It really is amazing. It's not that I hated Bush just because, I gave him chances, I always tried to stay impartial but he just has an uncanny ability of f*cking up.

For once, she's actually not insane. A census need not include anything but number of people, maybe possibly age and gender, but I don't even think that's necessary. Her concern for ACORN is just braindead, though.

I've heard from quite a few of my Republican friends that South Carolina Mark Sanford is pretty liked, and is a hopeful candidate for the future.
Well, before he can run they have to find him!

Just heard on the news, no one knows where he is... Supposedly, no one has heard from him since Thursday. When HIS OWN WIFE was asked about it she said, she doesn't know.
Soooo no one knows where the governor of SC is.

One of the more interesting stories. Hope he's not gone insane or something happened, or he's gone on a personal manhunt to kill Obama and is sneaking through the forests at the moment...

Update: Apparently SC Governor Mark Sanford was out hiking the Appalachian Trail.
Also, supposedly his advisers did know where he was, just didn't tell anyone Wacko
ALSO, he has done this a few times before. This is the Republicans hopeful candidate for 2012? A guy who, when things get tough he goes off  not even telling his wife where, and has no contact with ANYONE for days on end?

Talk about the Reps being in disarray....

National Lampoon did this great parody of the 1980 census form.  I was unable to find anything on it to link to but it had some great lines like:
