I'm going to listen to Sensible Shoes, I guess.

I tend to have odd dreams after I go back to sleep. For example, if I wake up at 9 and go back to sleep, I'll have a dream and wake up, and do that multiple times until I can't stay asleep.

Most of my dreams are when I'm waking up, or when I've been woken up and doze off again.  The one above was one such dream.  It was during the day when I was having a nap.

How is that not unusual?

I'm not the sort of guy to have sex with some girl in front of everyone whilst whoever is waiting to pick her up is waiting in the car for her.

And it wasn't an orgy.  I think the other girl was just helping us out... as we were leaving each other and likely weren't going to see other again.  It was that last moment fling...

Actually, she is moving away but she promises me she'll come and visit.  I also have regrets 'cause she came out Friday and we failed to meet up.  I do sincerely hope I'll see her before she goes.

I once had a dream where I was going to a Peter Hammill gig with 2 friends (no idea who they were) and we heard shots in the distance and then some dude ran into us... we didn't realise the significance then but Hammill had been shot and we could have caught the b*****d who did it.

Actually, I remembered it wrong.  The dude who shot him was one of our mates and he disappeared off and returned later without saying a word...

I remember a dream where I was running down this corridor made out of some kind of plate metal or whatever, and then the floor in front of me disappears, and when I look down into the black I see a sword stuck through my stomach, what does that mean?

Oh, I can usually decipher dreams easily.

I have had a couple of recurring ones.

One is where I'm at School and am always late for Tutor Group (i was never late for Tutor Group) and handed in Homework late (I never did that either).

The other one is where I do some sort of weird flying-cum-levitation thing.  I sort of am walking along and do a little lift of my feet and it turns into a giant but slow leap and I can control the length and when I land.  I've had a variation on it too where I can just levitate (but upright).

Me + Rum + Agalloch = epic philosophical mood.

Oh, I also had one where some dude was chasing me around the garden with a knife and actually stabbed me (and yes, I did wake up).  It was also typically like in cartoons where you're going fast and the person chasing you is going slow but still catches up with you.

I had a really fabulous Sci-Fi dream too but it's patchy and I only remember a few bits of it.  It was about some missile hitting earth or something I was with some attractive female scientist or something... and we started running away from the scene as something was chasing us and the building we were running alongside had a gap in it but when we approached it, the gap moved to a different place and we ran down it, whilst the people chasing us just saw where the usual gap was and so when they ran down it, they couldn't find us.
