Well yeah, but Snowtorch was indeed satisfying. It's going to be hard to top Doomsday Afternoon.

What, did you personally tell him you don't like his music or something? LOL

I personally told him in a thread here that I thought the first track was great, the second was good, and the last I didn't like much.

I've never rated any of his albums less than a three, so I can't see how I don't like his music.

Ugh now I need to listen to this snowtorch just to hear what all the hype is about.

I bet it sucks, only because it does have so much hype....its how these things go

Isn't the Top 100 supposed to have a filter that stops brand new albums getting to the top after a few great ratings. I'm pretty sure Beardfish's new album got the same effect but didn't jump into the Top list

That third track was not good.  But as I said, I'll listen to it several times more before I pen anything.

I try and avoid everything that's unanimously hyped, unless it gets mercilessly bashed. Usually hyped things are fail, but the bashing proves that it must have something of value indeed. This proved to work in many ocasions, but with  Gazpacho's Tick Tock specially.

However, I AM a fido fanboy, so I will get this sh*t regardless.

Speaking of Snowtorch, has anybody noticed that it's in the top ten albums on the site? It's currently ranked higher than Floyd's Animals.
