Oblivion was spread out over a long time but Skyrim was like bam! 2 months of constant play, I burned myself out. I'll get back to it soon.

Hmm, maybe I need to turn the counter on or something, but I'm playing over my brother's computer so I don't have many liberties over how things work. But, yeah, it is basically the same with me. I've played Oblivion in a much more "stretched" way, but I did everything that it was possible to do with one character alone (maxed every ability) and was able to hoard so much awesome sh*t it lost sense. Skyrim is much more addictive and have the horizons spread so far and wide I have already two or three back-up characters planned for after I finnish this one I'm currently playing.

And what kind of character is yours, Brian? Big smile

I went Nord.
A break of routine for me, I was always a redguard. In fact so was my brother and my friend, so it felt odd switching but I just had to be a Nord for the land of Skyrim.

Not even close.

I kind of figured it was a case where the sum was greater than the parts.

I dunno, he's moves between ambient, fake orchestral stuff, and really cheap sounding pop music. I've only listened to his ambient stuff once before and not caring, but his collabs with Fennezs are good.

I wasn't a big fan of Fennezs, but maybe the collab I'll like more.

That sounds like something I'd have to be in the mood for.

You what, nigga?

I have never went redguard, don't really know if they have any advantage at all. I usually choose either Breton, Dark Elf, High Elf or Orc. My favorite race is Dark Elf (most balanced IMO, but in Skyrim they kind of killed that with this new leveling method; still the most balanced, though), but Breton and High Elf are OK as well.

This sounds like something that may possibly interest Alan/Matt/Tanner:  http://www.waysidemusic.com/Music-Products/Tone--Yasunao---Yasunao-Tone-(special)__02-Asphodel-spc-2011.aspx

. Pushing further the concept of his tool of choice, the wounded CD (and its not-feeling-so-good-itself CD player), Tone delivers three tracks of mind-bending conceptual noise. At the heart of this album are Man'yo poems, dating back from first millennium China. Tone chooses pictures matching each Chinese character in the poems, scans them into the computer, translates the raw data into noise, burns it onto CD-R, prepares the disc, applying pieces of scotch tape, scratching, and drilling holes in it, then plays it back. That method was used for the first two pieces, and the result is a thick puree of skipping sound mayhem...

That sounds promising.
