As a Packers fan I had pretty high hopes for the season. And then that. Sure we will improve in certain areas but I have to say that was pretty damn impressive from Seattle . Any doubts they would re-focus after the SB? Forget it. Lynch? Just wow. Time to adjust my targets.
Do I see the Packers being good enough to turn the tables on the Seahawks if their paths cross again further down the line this season? I'd say not a chance, unfortunately.

Finally! It's back!Skins to win the NFC East?? That is bold, I know this is the popular answer, but I really can't imagine (barring unforseen madness) Philly not winning it. Dallas has no hope The Skins and G Men will duke it out for #2. Gotta love that Seattle defense. Epic. Also I heard they were the least penalized team in pre season, even though the change in penalty calling was caused by Seattle! Talk about adjusting. Anyway, this really is impressive. The D, Lynch is still a beast, Wilson and co aren't just methodical and efficient, they are explosive. Oh and their rigged stadium to boot I never pick a team to repeat the SB, but they must be a favorite. |
I'm not really sold on anyone in the NFC east. While I would be fairly surprised if Dallas wins it, it's pretty wide open to me...mostly because of ineptitude. And as I said...needed to shake up my picks. Can't go with the obvious all the time...and there usually is a good turnover with teams making the playoffs from year to year.
Also...I picked the Gmen to win last year and they started 0-6. Not jinxing them like that again. |
Inept Eagles beat 4 of your NFC playoff teams (1 of them twice), lost by a FG to the fifth, and didn't play the sixth.

Well that was pretty impressive by Seattle....The O took a Qtr or so to get going, the only hiccup was the botched catch by Thomas that was not all his fault.
I really like the play calling too, caught Packers D by surprise on some nice ones.
I know it is soooooo early but how can you not think who in the NFC can stop them...can anyone? New Orleans maybe?
49ers are all in jail...dude that was funny!

NO has a good shot. Packers got dominated last night, but I think with a healthy RT and homefield they have a good chance of beating them as well.

YES! Cowboys game is off to a wonderful start :D
After 2 years of hype, Clowney left his first NFL game with injury, almost figures eh? Exciting finish for Buffalo and Atlanta, hoping tonight's will be great.
Oh and G Men finally will start the season tomorrow, I am almost afraid for it...

Well, you can often let the first game or 2 go.
Wow Dallas sucks! 21-3 before the first is over. Romo pick already. Dallas is in their prime time form!

That is fair but still, literally the first game will not be your death. Bengals look legit though. they keep knocking on the door...wonder if they can finally open it up this year.
And 3 Romo Picks by half time! He is trying to beat Eli clearly

Your secondary might have a field day with Stafford's scattered side-arm throws. He turns the ball over more times than not with those.

The Ravens released Ray Rice and the NFL suspended him indefinitely after video of him punching his fiance/now wife surfaces. Sounds fishy to me, like they are trying to undo their previous bad publicity for the weaker penalties that they handed to him of a 2-game suspension.

Kudos to the Ravens for releasing him.Our cap might suffer, but the NFL just suspended him indefinitely and no other team can pick him up.

My Mom was a battered woman and I spent most of my teenage years fighting my abusive, drunken, violent, gun collecting stepfather.
That being said,Rice was dead to me the moment this happened.

I'm sorry to hear that Jody. I've not had to deal with that on a personal level, but still have no respect for any man who would hit a woman.

I am absolutely 100% glad that Ravens too that action. There should be ZERO tolerance for such actions.
It is flat out chicken $h*t on his part to act that way towards a woman.

Hey diddle diddle, ray rice punch your wife in the face.
No, no...that's pretty terrible video. Quite damning and can't say I'm surprised that he was cut or suspended indefinitely by the league.
Selfish note...I'm glad this will distract from how bad the giants will be tonight!

I'm more afraid of our offense. (Not to diminish Megatron...Im sure he'll do quite well against the revamped secondary). Your d-line will probably abuse the gmen's O-line all night. Hopefully the giants will still be able to run the ball well as they did in the preseason, because that seems to be the only hope the giants have at being able to fend off those dogs.
