Awesome, I didn't you you like stuff from this side of prog / music, too. In that case I suppose you like the Ozric Tentacles, too? Also, don't forget to leave the album a rating. Wink

It's essentially a "pre-album" version of the album, if I'm understanding right - they say that the recording of the "true" album was to take place in May 2010, so the actual "true" album still isn't out that I know of.

I just started listening to Charlestown, and it's already a contender for my favorite album of 2010.

Yeap, it appears that I never was really paying attention. But where did you find that info about the "pre-album version"?

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out after Jaga Jazzist.

It's just the way I interpreted this: recorded and mixed by Rodolphe Starinsky during various gigs
the recording of the true album will be in may 2010

From Guillaume's website.

Not so much of a great album for me, but I don't like much Manning's works anyway.

I didn't see that, his website isn't working for me tonight, I don't know why. Also, now that I think more, from what I said at the concert I understood that what you mentioned as the "pre-album version" is the digital version, and what he's waiting for was the CD version. In summer he was saying that he hopes to have it in autumn. So if this is right, the music will be the same (recording wise).

That may be so.  The only way I could get to that info on the album was by going to the band's Myspace then linking back to the website via the listen/download link with the album, their site is goofy indeed.
