I wanted to make the black bits disappear but there is no way I'm going to cut around all that red just to cut out all that black.

Yeah it's actually very good, I was pleasently surprised as I thought it was going to just be too gruesome based on what people say about the movie.  But it's not too terribly violent and the whole concept is put together very well.

It's a black comedy really.  Yes it's got its violent moments and some nudity (but it's not erotic nudity as such because it's some woman getting stripped just before she gets raped) but it is actually amusing in places.

Nudity is fine but it's the way it's portrayed in A Clockwork Orange.  You cannot get turned on by it (unless you're depraved).
