So as long as you don't fu C k on school (I'm at the moment a little bit), are not having so much problems because of it with your parents, do want friends in your life (disputable act in my life) and have girl who is similar freak as you are it's OK I suppose.

Well, (to end these quotations) it's complicated. I'll try to explain it with some research/analysis.

I said that having a girl is important.

He agreed and (as I understood it), he told that he has his girl too. He also made joke about Lady Gaga album.

I talked again about importance of (being earnest?) having girl. Also added joke that this album (assuming that I understood that he was talking about album of Lady Gaga) is James LaBrie's

Now he didn't understood my last sentence, which point to fact that I didn't understand what he told me.

And then, you didn't understand it all.

Fine by me, I'm confused now :)

nevermind, let's move on.

With girl by your side, let's enter your life as prog listener together.

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

I don't have, or need, a girlfriend.  Prog is my one true love anyways.  Of course, Prog isn't the most important thing in my life, but it certainly increases its qualityWink

For me it is. Except watching movies and reading books (stupid spell checker, movie is a word, even it's not in UK dictionary. And everybody from UK probably know what this word means so hell, stupid checker) and gathering information from internet.

importance in my life

1)my girl

2)music

3)information (I really love them, gathering knowledge)

4)movies/TV series

5)books

And practically, I'm working just to earn money for more and more prog music. With two people, we can share our feelings together. Having just each other to be with. It's really great.

GET OFF THE STAGE!

I always felt that companionship was unnecessary and far too much importance is devoted in our culture to being with another person who will eventually break your heart.

Let me try and make things more confusing to you. Tongue

I have a girl, but she's actually a woman and my wife.  Now you could be attracted to people of the same gender, and that's OK by me.  You might even be one of those asexuals, who aren't sexually interested in any kind of other people at all (maybe not even sexual activities with yourself).  In which case, I would have to classify you as a freak.  But hey, to each your own, even if you aren't putting your own genitals to good use.

But rest assured that there will come a time when you even take your clothes off when you dance, wa wa wa waaa... LOL

If you do manage to do the feat of asexual reproduction, you are truly a freak and I admire you for having that capability. Tongue

Aww, hell, I think I'm just going to slink off and substitute prog for life.

Since when this discussion become a reproduction methods thread...?? well, I like women a lot, and well, we have some parts in our body which were made for some reason and I think we have to use it right...??? and it is nice and feels ok... so... go out, have girls or women... become one with nature... it's ok... at least for me... nothing to do with prog as substitute for life, but well...

This thread is getting... weird...

But still, no girlfriend for me until I find one that likes Prog.  (Okay, so maybe I won't be that selective.)

This has come up before and you should try and find a partner that tolerates your and allows your room for your music.  You might get lucky and find the ideal girlfriend.  You might hold your breath and turn blue.  When it comes to finding someone to spend your life with, don't place prog compatability too high on the scale, there's much more to consider...

I endorse everything apart from the last part. Having your heart broken is just part of life's learning curve and reveals more about our judgement than the judged.

(you ain't gonna get your genitals trapped in every food blender now are ya ?)

Uhh dude, have you even talked to a female before?
Your mother and that doctor that saw your genitals don't count (unless she a hot doctor under the age of 30,in which case, shame on your for not going for that).
Like ACTUALLY spoke to a female?

Yeah, I think it's enough that she don't complian about the size of your cds organizator and that she can tolerate that you should need 80 minutes some days to listen to conceptual albums without interruptions... so, I think it's about she can tolerate your musical adiction more than she liking and been a progfan... That will be easier...
