my 1966 Pam record player, i had this restored, added a new cartridge and a Mullard valve and bingo - instant retro lo-fi! Wink

i took my Marshall JCM600 amp to a guy in Chiswick to be retubed, and while i was waiting took a walk and snapped this church in the park.

When I awoke this morning, the view off the hotel balcony reminded me of Robert's album cover.  Had I got there with the sun lower in the sky, the effect would have been even closer.   But even as is, I had to share it.  This is looking over Lake Superior, Duluth MN

And one more sunrise, taken from the same place.  Moments like this are my "church."

Awesome pics, are you from Duluth???
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

I lived in the Cities for four years and we vacationed in the Apostle Islands several times. Lake Superior is a beautiful place. I miss it.

To be honest I haven't gotten around to getting them yet.  Embarrassed

I had just begun my foray into Krautrock (post my first review of an album too).  Approve

I think you have to have a really good wurst with it.  The Krautrock and I know a good beer would not be a particular problem for you.

I was actually a Kraftwerk fan before I became a serious prog fan.  Was totally surprised to find they were considered prog when I discovered this site.  Haven't listened to Autobahn in many years though.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Plenty of kitties where I've been as well:

Very shy, barely let me touch her, as a stranger - but has a gorgeous fur, that shines in the light.

I swear this last one (nicknamed Pillow) posed the moment she saw me pointing the camera at her.
