^that Hunter track reminds me of something Jeff Beck would have done on his early albums.
One of my favorite covers ....

Rock Partyzani,
Born In Yugoslavia, a live cover of The Boss' song
Born In USA
VIDEO
Born in Yugoslavia
The country of happiness, peace and love
In our hearts you're still livin'
You'll never be forgotten
Born in Yugoslavia
The country of hapiness, sun, peace and love
We had some many tears spilled
Back in the day, when we divorced
It was the place called Tito's land
Non-aligned and proudness,
Proud motherland of the farmers and and the workers
In the battle and blood,
I was born born in Yugoslavia
The country of the sun, happiness, peace and love
In our hearts you're still livin'
You'll never be forgotten
We had to fight so much to build our Yugoslavia again
And we have to dream the better days
We really had the whole world
But later they've f*cked us up
But again, people sing:
"Give us back, Yugoslavia!"
Born in Yugoslavia!
The country of peace and love
In our hearts you're still livin'
You'll never be forgotten!
Born in Yugoslavia!
In the country of peace and love
We had many tears spilled back in the day,
When we got divorced!
Born in Yugoslavia!
Born in Yugoslavia!
Born in Yugoslavia!
Born in Yugoslavia!

I was familiar with Steve Hunter because of the intro to Sweet Jane (Lou Reed Live).
When the Swept Away album came out I bought it based on that intro without hearing any tracks.

Bleugh!
... that's a long way short of being "Amazing" or even ""Great". Insipid
breathy cover versions by deeply earnest females have been done to death.

I also have that Reed album from the old days and always loved Hunter's guitar work...sadly I never bothered to ck out his other work.

^^ Back then I bought the Lou Reed album just for that song.
He has six or seven albums after Swept Away that I never got around to hearing.
Maybe I should listen to some.

^^ That is a great cover.
I was a fan of Rod Stewart's solo albums and Faces albums because The Jeff Beck Group was a favorite.
Ron Wood's bottle-neck guitar was great.
