I hear what you're saying Walton Street.
I tend to accumulate things and hang onto them. Besides the LPs I have about 1200 DVDs and over 100 seasons of TV shows, both network and cable.
I also ended up with about 80 boxes of collectible dishes and glassware that belonged to my parents who collected since the late 50s.
What am I supposed to do, give them to the Goodwill?

For a reason I haven't been able to explain, I am deeply fascinated with the "vintage" science publications, both books and periodicals: general engineering, automotive & aviation, chemistry and pharmaceuticals, health care, astronomy, geography ..

the covers are very cool on those.

i didn't collect to put in storage, my previous home had a full custom built library for the books and the entire basement was wall to wall built in shelving for the music and movies.

i had to move last fall and the new house wasn't ready to accommodate all the stuff .. been working on it since i moved in.

^ Meltdowner can explain the "and he put them in the shed" reference; he is a highly educated PT specialist.

And now it's time for the "Look at my vinyl" show:

Those phrases weren't stange to me but I didn't associate with the song: as I said the other day I don't pay much attention to their lyrics and when I listen to that track it's because of the cool bass and drums Wink

I love that show, nice vinyl Big smile

^ Wilson's lyrics: True - how could I have forgotten?

Here is another lovely vinyl cover for you all, with a sassy next door beauty to observe:

'Oh, hi! I was just lying here on the Spanish flag, partially covered by the French and Italian ones. Come closer; I don't bite'

Oh my, this is a really tiny turntable - even a little smaller than the one I have in my bedroom. Ideal for a tight place, where a larger unit may not fit either physically, or aesthetically.

^ probably. I think he can plug it directly into his computer speakers, if he wants to. I do have one USB table, but I haven't used its USB path for a long time. I rip to WAV, because that's the only way my CD recorder knows how to rip Geek

I'm having a great listen to side 2 of "Jack Johnson" by Miles Davis, one if my favorites by MD, but I'm sad I can't post a picture because my iPhone has decided to be a butt.

I always felt this album sounded so good on vinyl, the soundscapes come across very well.....Very wide soundstage I am enjoying right now on Side 2
