The home of long hair, drugs, sex, rock and roll, Satan, leather and chains, and other such debauchery.  That and music that makes your ears bleed.  http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/

I guess that explains your post from earlier... Tongue

I only have the long hair and the rock n roll part.... and another part of that list only infrequently Embarrassed

I suspect I got no business being there Wink
That reminds me, how is Mr. Firm Tush? LOL  I probably have no business being there either, but I was a headbanger for a good long time before the prog bug bit me.  I'm not really much into modern metal, but I've found a few decent diamonds in the rough.

He's still in California and I'm still here.

But I did enjoy vacationing there. It's really a beautiful state. A bit too... religious, in some spots, and the food is too salty, but I can't wait to eat at The Cheesecake Factory again. And get a Jack In The Box bacon burger.

And we went to 2 Ameoba Music stores Big smileBig smileBig smile

Scott's back!
Hey Mr. Salty.  Didn't feel like doing any work on MMA today and the Forum was dead, so decided to pay a visit.

Ah, OK.  Well good to see you back (temporarily, I guess?).
Only time will tell.

Time takes time to tell anything, and it's usually like clockwork when it does.
Another thing is that my alphabetical tour of my collection has brought me to the band Hardline, which means that another H band which used to be frequently discussed here isn't too far away. LOL

Erm, wat?

Theoretical mechanics - a senior level physics class.

I've never taken a single physics class, I'd think it'd be beyond me. LOL

Physics is the best science.  Just sayin', especially since astrophysics is part of physics.

My favorite science class so far was chemistry, mostly because it was so easy for me.

I don't know Hardline, and I'm not sure which band you're referring to. Embarrassed

Speaking of bands people like/discuss though, I just bought Hemispheres on Friday. Big smile

Forgot about that one.

OK I've partaken in 5 of the 8 things on the metal list.
But I dont think anyone has made their ears bleed from the music.

Ah, OK.  Have you listened to them much yet or are they a new addition?  I've bought their box set since you were away, actually.  Still only own two of their four studio albums though. LOL

I heard through the MMA grapevine that Pat had left.  I guess that he missed me. Wink  Not sure what caused his departure, but I can certainly say that I've been there.

Yeah, he left and Jim doesn't come around to the Shred as often as he used to.  We did have Easy Money and Dean here on different occasions, though not exactly for the good kind of reasons. Confused

True, but we did get Easy Money to talk about jazz fusion for a bit, so that's not so bad.
