Congrats!
I recall a few years back, Tony R started a thread entitled "Some people post way too much!", maybe we should make a sequel? |
Thanks!
Haha, that sounds really interesting! You should.
|
It got closed though, as it all turned into a posting competition really
|
I could see that.

Anyhow Pat, your initial thoughts, if you will?
Oh and you need to hear this album I am listening to as well. It's completely OOP as far as I know. Very hard to find on CD.

Still on the first track but this is very good - I see what BJ was talking about with GG comparisons.

As boring as the 100 Metres Final here.
Except Sotos are making me move about like someone with piles.

Some Olympic events are useless.

Oh and yes James, I want to try Sotos and Zaar.
I still want to get Kultivator as well.

| Il Labirintio is my favourite. Mmmmm Sotos! This is exceptional. They remind me of chamber prog... obviously but also King Crimson, Guapo and in places... Astrid Proll (in the bass and guitar style, rather than musically).

I agree there; I haven't really watched any of the Olympics though. Only a bit.

Something is screwy with Wayside Music... when I did a search for Kultivator, it came up with Wayside yet when I search Wayside for Kultivator, they're not listed... only Ur Kaos's debut. I'm hoping Greg Walker has the remastered Bardonmens Stigar. You won't find Sotos' self-tited debut on CD... if you do, let me know where you found it!

Yeah, they were very influenced by GG when they made the album. Some tracks are more obvious than others, like the last track that features some really good vocal harmonics alà GG!
