I don't like Metallica but saw them perform the whole of Master of Puppets at Download Festival in 2006.  They played a song from their forthcoming album... and that was back in 2006!  Gosh, they're slow!

Not that I particularly care, mind you. LOL

I dislike that album. Cry  I expected so much more!  All I got was an out of tune Wayne Coyne with a band playing uninspirational music. LOLEmbarrassed

I blame Mickey the n00b. LOL

Neil Sedaka.

LOL

No idea, Pat.

Although you should try and get some Olivier Messiaen music... especially Quatuor pour la fin du temps which is full of Cowisms... or rather Henry Cow are full of Messiaenisms.

Area needs your vote. Now.

I quite simply cannot vote...

I've only ever heard Area's Arbeit Macht Frei and two Gong albums.

I really must sort that out. LOLEmbarrassed

Well, this post mentions Messiaen and Henry Cow.
I don't have any Messiaen.
Henry Cow it is.

Messiaen's more RIO though.

He is.

He's becoming less popular than Henry Cow and he did the Henry Cowesque sounds before Henry Cow.

Henry Cow are just upstarts!

Messiaen needs some love.

I know, that's why you rock. Clap

Wink

Really, what the deal was... David, Dahlia, Branden (someone I met on last.fm and who has posted here only a couple times under the name MrEdifus), and I predicted the outcomes of this entire tournament... and Area is one of my most important bands in it. All 3 of them had Gong (which sucks, I have to fight those 3 votes), but I have Area travelling as a dark horse through the first couple rounds. I'm hoping they can pull this off! Big%20smile

If not... Ouch
