Near Neptune   Navigation    http://nearneptune.bandcamp.com/album/navigation  (name your price)

a blizzard of heavy riffs come from Denton, Texas. no mercy, no remorse, just very heavy progressive rock, with airy passages that are just the portals to beyond.

I haven't gone through the whole thread but I have a rec, sorry if they have already been mentioned.

The Greek post-rock band Adolf Plays The Jazz: http://adolfplaysthejazz1.bandcamp.com/

They were suggested to the Post Rock Team way back in 2008 I believe. I don't know what happened with that suggestion, but the fact that they are not on a record label and all their music is available for free download probably had something to do with them not being taken seriously for addition. Great music anyway.

Check out Cromlech, an epic heavy metal group from Canada who play some totally might-is-righteous Nietzschean Übermensch music. While not progressive in the typical sense, it's still very ambitious and intricate stuff... so it should appeal to quite a few people here.
