And besides, my Reds are where it's at right now. 3 1/2 games ahead of the Cards at this time of the year is absolutely amazing, especially this time of year when the Reds tend to be mathematically eliminated.

Revised answer: That just happened last week when the Tigers were crushed by that awful team from the Bronx.

I don't know much about this year's Reds, but they have been my favorite National League team for pretty much my entire life. The years of the Big Red Machine was during my sprout years and I've just been a fan ever since. I am glad to see them doing so well this year.
