Oi!

I saw Magma in October and didn't even get close to the band.  How did you manage that? Shocked

After the Kobaïa encore the whole audience continued applauding for 5-10 minutes or so, so the band got back on stage to give us the last farewell. Vander looked very proud and somewhat humble when he saw the massive applauding from the audience. I stood right in front of the stage and stretched my hand towards him and bada-bim!

A great moment and perfect finale to an amazing evening!

Speaking about Ahvak, makes me want to listen to that album. Started.

I knew it was there somewhere. LOL

When I first heard it, I giggled.  When I hear it now, I still giggle.

I don't want to be stoned to death for this comment but early Queen (the first four albums) are really really good.

I just wish they'd stuck to that style for longer and didn't do that tacky electronic stuff.

Embarrassed

I saw Magma a couple of weeks ago and got to handshake with Vander before he got off stage. Maybe I stole them then without knowing? Shocked

I think I read on one of the Zeuhl blogs that the Oslo show was uploaded somewhere. First I thought of asking whether  the show was very good or not, but then, which Magma show isn't very good? I might download it...

Hey James, in your PF signature, there Jack the Ripper by Present. Is that an error?

Nope, it's on the new Present album Barbaro.  It's a cover, obviously and it's luscious.

It's brilliant.  It's worth your time, definitely.

Although musically it's nothing new.  If you want the classic UZ/Present sound though, you won't be disappointed.
