Search me. As far as I'm concerned, if I die with a pound in my pocket that's bad financial planning.

I did use the word 'savings' in the broadest sense of the term...Embarrassed

(or in this case, the narrowest...LOL)

I have my money spread over two banks (well, Building Societies) plus I have my main money (not earning interest... must sort this out, I need to move some over to the Building Society!) with a Bank.

I could be more thrifty with my current account though... plus I need to sort out my 5.25% Internet Saver account too... hmm.  I'm getting the interest, I just need to sort out the Internet bit. LOL

Ah yes, I remember the Dudley Building Society. I understand they went bust last week when all their investors (yes, both of them) panicked and try to draw their money out at once. Sadly they only had £10 and a used paper clip in the till at the time and had to be declared bankrupt.
Apparently someone said at the time "but we have all of that nice boy Jared's savings, we can't be bankrupt", to which the response was "we spent that at Dunkin Donuts on the way to work this morning".
Sorry Jared.

Maybe.

I'd fail it too, even though I'm completely British. Confused
