Barretto is my fav at the moment. A lot of the original Fania cds before the label was bought by EMusica  were difficult to obtain and expensive. Even though I still bought the albums with Ray Barretto,Willie Colon.Larry Harlow etcs I bought double comps that contained tracks from most of their albums with Fania so I have been reluctant to buy the reissues because of having in some case half the album on these comps but after playing heaps of Barretto lately I want some of the albums as the comps are a bit all over the place. The first Barretto   Que Viva La Musica I bought on the original release as there is I believe bad compression issues with the reissue but all the rest are Emusica and remastered nicely. One is a Willie Colon album.

I have 4 more Barretto albums on order at a friends cd shop but they will take about 6 weeks I'd say so list them when they arrive

Kayo Dot - Blue Lambency Downward
Neurosis - Through Silver in Blood
Isis - Oceanic
The Beatles - Past Masters vol. 1
The Beatles - Past Masters vol. 2
The Grateful Dead - Aoxomoxoa

My girlfriend bought:

Alamaailman Vasarat - Huuro Kolkko
Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - In Glorious Times

And now who was the Censored Censored Censored who thought that putting those Censored everlasting super-glue Censored stickers to album covers was a Censored good idea? If the album comes in a plastic wrapper then please just put those Censored Censoreds on them and not on the actual cover. A jewel box is not very bad yet because it's replaceable but if you Censored insist on putting an ugly sticker on a digipak cover, can you Censored use a removable sticker and not one of those Censored Censoreds that leave an eternal white scar on it.

Thank you, now I feel better.

Just bought Voïvod's 'Infini', just went back at home, ripping the plastic, and... reading the hilarious Relapse sticker: "Recommended if you like Mastodon, (early) Soundgarden, Metallica, Van Der Graaf Generator".

Is it me or are the guys of the marketing section of Relapse a bit intense and confuse?

That's a very nice list there Anirml. The fact you bought Alphataurus along with these great bands made me wonder who they are and thanks to you, I've got a brand new band!

^ If you want an honest answer it's because it was only 5 bucks, and since I have a little bit of OCD, it didn't hurt.Tongue
