I have to test them every Friday...(ideally when customers aren't in the showers...Embarrassed) and ensure that its a different panel every week...and ensure that my line manager signs it off on a monthly basis.  I also have to do fire drills periodically, and organise both alarms and extinguishers to be tested (by 2 different companies) bi-annually...Sleepy
 
after all, its no fun having to do a roll-call at 3am in your 'Jamas because some spider has set up home in a smoke detector...Ouch (and it HAS happened...)

sadly, it was a victim of a bizarre 'spontaneous internal combustion' incident, owing to a freak build up of noxious gases...Pinch

LOL You're probably right... our audience consisted of some 400-500 employees of the company I left three weeks ago, with their partners. We played three 70s-90s cover sets to celebrate the company's 30th anniversary. Not much Threshold fans in that crowd I expect...
