I wonder how one can like Krisiun, Malevolent Creation, Behemoth and Lock Up and not like Vader... well, I'm sure it's possible, but I'm still surprised.

Besides, Vader are from my hometown, so I get kinda annoyed when I see  next to their name, even though I'm not really a fan...

I notice a lot of you have very bad taste in music.

Do yourselves a favor. Buy up the Sodom and Coroner catalogues to repent for your indiscretions.

As Vader is unoriginal as hell!!! Moreover, a clone of Malevolent Creation IMO. Esp. take a look at M.C's old releases

You're more or less right, although I think the biggest similarity between them is how boring both bands get after more than 2 songs.

But where does Krisiun come in here?

Boring, you're right. I don't listen anymore.  BTW, Vader is a rip off in many aspects. 1st, the vocalists use very similar techniques; 2nd, guitar patterns are so much alike; 3rd, they made such songs make me say "OMG!!!, is rip off is nothing but this". And if we ignore these facts, Vader makes more interesting music IMO.

BTW, i i write them in a death metal forum; death metal fans would probably do me some harm

And i didn't get your point about Krisiun!

Krisiun isn't exactly an original band, either, this is what I meant.

And I don't think you'd get flamed much on death metal forums for your views on MC and Vader , it seems many death heads agree with you.

Unless, of course, you joined the MC and Vader forums...

I forgot to add a smile after saying "...would probably do me some harm..."

Hmm, in fact I find Krisiun (esp the drummer!) music quite original, yet boring. The drummer's double bass technique, while grinding with the snare, is very innovative and hard to perform as far as i have observed. You may be right anyway, i don't know each grind band perfectly...

I think there is (or at least used to be) a noticeable MC/Vader/Slayer/whatever influence in Krisiun. I'm sure Max Kolesne is a very good drummer, but to me his style seems very inefficient, even if it is original.

While their recorded stuff bores me, they're said to be unmatched in their intensity live, though.

Personally, I hate metal other than prog, other than certain bands. I love In Flames, and they have some very good albums, like The Jester Race

And then there's alt-metal, like Staind, who some people think are too depressing, but I like

I agree. The people who only listen a genre are so closed...
