LOL Oh, I love you guys, and I haven't even glided today. I can't at the moment, as I am a very dubious conductor and have to raise my hands so the channel would work, but Bayern keeps scoring. Angry

^ I'll take it.

Would've figured the Japanese would have a female cyborg ready for mass production by now, you know.  It's a little disappointing.

LOL

Here ya go.
Just don't let any of them come in contact with giant white angels nailed to crosses.  The results I hear can be devastating.

I realize there are plenty on this website, and plenty out there in the world, but its just so hard to fine them and when you do what are the odds your going to spark a relationship?

Well for all of you men and women reading this, now is your chance!  Just write down your age, favorite genres, contact information (eg. skype or facebook) but only if you really want to. Where you live. Otherwise talk about anything you want. Wink

For me

Age: 18
Genres: all of them but particularly avant-garde and krautrock. Fusion too.

And somewhere on the planet, a young female prog fan is writing a disturbing slash fan-fiction about the torrid affair between Captain Picard and an atlantean wombat.

A prog girl that takes you for a ride in her Cougar playing King Crimson Lizard all day and asks you why you listen to electronic garbage like Rubycon is a little one sided I think.Shocked A prog girl that stays in her room all day practicing Tarkus but allows society's version of what a woman is supposed to be overshadow her confidence has issues of a serious nature. Many of the great prog women have faced issues such as these  during their time spent in Progressive Rock bands of the golden era. All about the fuss or grief over their gender.

The criminal activity or discrimination in the  music business is directly tied into a scene from A League Of Their Own where the baseball scout refuses to pick the outstanding high ball hitter because she is not pretty. Something I experienced during the many decades of pressurized work in hiring female singers. Many of them were multi-talented but, again the "LOOK" of a beauty queen was no doubt what managers and agents had on the agenda. No doubt I fought for the cause and they had to hire female musicians that were maybe not so pretty. Again, no doubt there are fine Classical, Jazz, female musicians that still to this day, have to deal with bullcrap like this. The fact that they are more impeccable on an instrument then a man is hardly entered into on an intelligent level. I'm merely saying that if their gender is not taken seriously, what can you expect?

On the serious side of things but, something you might want to keep in mind when you bond with a prog girl who is a member of the  Prog Dating Service.

I couldn't post at all for a little bit, I must have tripped PA's filter in my zeal to expose you.

As far as I know it's not against the rules to refresh a few threads when there's a public demand for them.

In case I didn't make it clear in my previous posts, you don't have to like prog to date me. In fact I'm willing to settle for an avant-jazz fan.
