^ that should be the tagline to his show
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

Yoos guise might also like Rick Mercer, specifically his rants. ...only most of them are about Canadian politics. (he's also otherwise only mildly humorous)

i did soem research on google and apparently you are only supposed to speak in a gentle voice to someone who is crying. I used my normal voice and i dont see why a gentle voice is needed for this kind of situation. I thought all you had to say was dont cry to a person and thats it.

His rants are awesome, but I think my favourite part of RMR are the fake commercials. Though those would only be funny if you've been watching Canadian networks. Met him a few years ago building snowmen. Great guy.
when i was a kid a doller was worth ten dollers - now a doller couldnt even buy you fifty cents

Don't know what quack wrote up that advice. In my experience, the best way to get people to stop crying is to take out your megaphone and play faux drill sergeant with them.

It'd definitely be cooler talking to him outside of recording for the show (since he has to keep stuff going quickly for short timeslots). What was he seeing in BC at the time?

It was actually in Ottawa a few winters ago when we tried to set the Guinness world record for most snowmen built in an hour. It was actually a segment for his show when we met him (my family didn't make the episode, unfortunately), but he did take a few minutes after the hour was over to talk to us and get to know our names, who we were, where we're from, etc. We cracked a few jokes and had some laughs; it was a good, albeit brief, time. I agree, it would have been awesome to hang out with him for longer, but he did come across as very genuine, even if it was in front of the cameras.
