I don't think it was just the mood (though I do find them to be very mood orientated music) but their last album does have dark themes running throughout, especially in the lyrical department (thought they might sound like nonsense at times). They really like the use of metaphors. They still hold that sombre sound from their post-rock days. For some reason the guys vocals have never really bothered me. It was something I noticed straight off and I must believe their is some reason behind it, at times they seem to like to act the opposite to what they are conveying (if that makes any sense). |

So can we call our team now:
Then There were 7... ? After searching all over the net, I finally ordered from Musea the Abus Dangereux - Le Quatrieme Mouvement. After having a taste of the band, I am looking forward to this. |

With the kind guidance of Claire I am pondering over the band Klockwork Orange and there album Abrakadabra. This might not exactly be the band for this thread but this is where is going to get some interest. Is there any information about this band? I have found out they are from Austria but that is about it. When I google only one search came up (which was a Russia forum; my Russian is not good enough to comprehend forum talk). Funnily enough I was listening to a Current 93 track yesterday Killykillkilly which uses some of the music from Clockwork Orange, so the movie has been plaguing me for the past few days. Is there any ties between this band and the movie?

Anyone familiar with this little rarity from France? I'm not sure what genre (other the progressive), has never seen a CD reissue, and is on the good old NWW list.

I just wanted to stop by and congratulate Listennow801.
I know I've been off with this thread for some time now and the same thing can be said about RIO/Avant-prog, but it's kind of hard when having 2 completely different genres to take care of. I'll be back. I promise... |

^^^ Assaf you are right about this not being ours, I just thought I would post it hear as it would go pretty much unnoticed if I posted it in other sections. Hopefully we can find a little more information on the band.

So Joren or Assaf - in my 'welcome aboard' note from Tony, he said I should ask one of you to 'show me the ropes.' Any volunteers?

A PM was sent to you by yours truly. And also on any other matter, just ask anyone of the team - Chris (which you know and thinks highly of you), Joren, Trousepress (David), Geck0 (James), Adam and myself. |

It is, but I always seem to get caught with forgetting the prices are in Eruo's (always gets me when I am on ebay). I would be getting very excited with some of those if they were in my currency. |
