I set a deadline of June 30, 2012 to finish the first novel in my series.  I'm not even half way done.  Disapprove

Oh hey Anal, sorry I missed your query yesterday.

IMO 0:12 Revolution in Just Listening is Coalesce's best album, followed by Functioning on Impatience, though it's really hard to go wrong with any part of their discography.  Nothing but disgustingly noisy, sludgy hardcore through and through.  Also their reunion album OX is kind of eclectic and Dillinger-esque, if you enjoy that sort of silliness in your mathcore.

Are you still working on it consistently at least?

Consistently?  No.  In small bursts from time to time.  In my defense though, I just finished my summer class on Wednesday, and I've been engrossed in Romance of the Three Kingdoms and playing with my kids (had some awesome swordfights with my son's castle playset LOL).

If I could do about 5000 words a day, I'd make my goal.  Not impossible.

Fun, but exhausting.  I can't stay at parties for very long because they're so draining.  I was planning on staying the night but it was 3:30AM and they were still going strong and I couldn't handle it anymore so I pussied out.  Now I feel like a loser.

Also my roommate's crazy ex was there and she was sending me signals and I was nope.jpg'ing the entire night.

I would rather my story be a bit late than rush through it. I don't know about you, but while I can write many words per day, the first batch is always the best and I reach a certain point where I'm just writing less interesting stuff and I know it.

I saw Boris last year with Tera Melos.  That show was LOUD.  Boris are one of the best bands I have ever seen live though, their sludge metal stuff is just stupendously good.

Coyote is the only one I've listened to multiple times, and it annoys me more each time.

I kind of agree with you, but as it just sits, it starts to become stale and too familiar, and that demotivates me.

I know everything that happens in this book (well, almost everything), and it's really cool- I just need to not f**k it up with words.  LOL
