Mars Volta - Octahedron dropped into my mailbox a couple of days ago.

With science, you can turn a frog into a Ph.D. and you still have the frog you started with.

Are you rich or something? LOL
You seem to buy albums very often!
AND YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T OWN LED ZEPPELINS DEBUT!!!??? ShockedShockedShocked SHAME!!!!!! Angry
Not after buying all those friggin albums LOL Well, pretty much every penny I have left after paying the rent and buying food goes to music. Which brings us back to my latest purchases, the first four bought on my trip to Kuopio and the last one I just ordered today:

Jukka Tolonen - Summer Games
Mokoma - Tämän maailman ruhtinaan hovi
Devin Townsend Project - Ki
Fantômas - s/t
Kayo Dot - Choirs of the Eye

And nah, I've never liked Zeppeling very much, but now recently I've started to get a hang of things, mainly thanks to III. That's a very good album and I've sort of started to warm up to their other work too. Better late than never Wink

Decided to go for a spin today and buy me some vinyls.

1. Trilogy - ELP (will review when have time)
2. Thick As A Brick - Jethro Tull ( My dad (RIP) had this vinyl, but I didn't find it when I dug through his trash (where I found albums like L, Brain Salad, Morrocan Roll, and many Yes albums))
3. In the Can - Flash (I heard this a few times before I got this vinyl and it was simply amazing, will review ASAP)

They are all oh so good.
Trendsetter win!

The search for nonexistent perfection.

Not a single prog album, well maybe talk talk is prog-related (lots of good music besides prog !) :

12 Songsone of his best, with a flavour of country

Isolationexcellent AOR

Kingdom of DesireTOTO goes hard-rock, all vocals by "Luke"

Mindfieldstheir most eclectic album

The Notorious Byrd Brothersbyrds' best album

Fleetwood Mac / Self-Titledexcellent mainstream rock album

Our Bright Futureher best, an all acoustic folk album

Willis Alan Ramseyan obscure country-folk album, a real gem in the genre

Disintegrationgothic meets pop, one of their best after pornography

Spirit of Edensignals a strong change in style, melancholic album

Waterboysnot yet in their folk phase but already a strong album

The Dap Dipexcellent funk-soul

Painkillera mixed bag, the title song is a true killer though

"Magma was the very first gothic rock band" (Didier Lockwood)
