If it's good as K.A. (but I don't how much to believe in it, since K.A. was actually hey! we forgot to release a masterpiece back in the 70s), my pants will explode.

If it's anywhere NEAR  as good as KA I will be happy.

If UZ would have released theirs this year, it would have officially been the RIO/Avant/Zeuhl year, just like last year the Italians kicked it hard.

First part of the new dredg was enjoyable. It was the middle that was lacking.

So were my initial thoughts. Now it appears my entire discontent over it prevails. It's totally lost.

It means they're extremely well known in England, and well known elsewhere.

Don't understand why the article says "unknown to mainstream audiences". Makes me wonder what mainstream means then in the UK.

I know one person (except my brother) who knows about Porcupine Tree.  In fact, this guy Mark is a fanboy.  He does also like Marillion, Opeth and some other progressive bands too.

Oh, I think his mate Martin may like them too... not sure.

But almost nobody I speak to has heard of them and the ones that have heard of them haven't heard their music.

Nobody I speak to in real life has heard of progressive rock. Sometimes, names like Led Zep, the Who or Pink Floyd do ring a bell, but obviously not for prog reasons.

So I can't say I would find a PT friend in my community either, nevertheless I think crowds would gather, should PT come and play in Bucharest.

Lyrically or musically?

Speaking of them, I haven't heard'em in a while. Excellent band though!

Musically.

Although the few words of Italian that sort of sounded familiar made me think the lyrics were humorous too. LOL

Yeah, but they forgot to release the second one, K.A.

K.A. is giving me seizures right now, but I actually agree, M.D.K. remains the best.
