I'm hangin' with the Red Rocker this evening.  I picked up a bunch of vinyls a little while back that I have never listened to before.  I've always been a huge Van Halen fan, and I even liked them with Sammy.  I have a number of his "newer" solo albums on CD, but I had never heard most of his first 6 or 7 solo albums.  Kind of weird that I had never got around to checking them out before.

Apparently the first "Montrose" album, with him singing, is a stone cold hard rock classic.  I haven't heard it though.  I have heard good things about his solo albums though, especially the earliest ones.
It is. Other than Rock Candy, I had never heard that before until after Ronnie Montrose passed away.  I picked a few Montrose albums up on vinyl at the same time I picked up the Sammy vinyls.

ooh yay!
By the way, don't be alarmed by the song "Dad" on there.  It's a cover of a Nomeansno song (all other songs are originals), and not a reflection of my own dad, who rules.  The dad in the song is an abusive drunk.  As far as I know, the Nomeansno dads were pretty cool too.  So it's just a piece of punk horror theater.

That was awesome, Steve. Really great, like, noise hardcore. Didn't like the cover at ll, though. I mean, the cover it's self was good but the song was bad.

I don't understand why these random threads are so popular. Many of you will not agree with me but I don't know why. You can like these threads, there's no question, but I just want to know why.

I've got an awful headache since I woke up, I don't want to take any medicine and I don't want to prevent anyone from going to bed. I also don't like being me.

How's everyone? I'm listening to Gamma Knife again because it's a good album and I enjoy its creepy atmosphere.

I'm staying online all night because I have no friends and will probably read soon.

I'm good. Listening to Robert Rental - "Mental Detentions". Getting excited for crate digging tomorrow, an activity I thoroughly enjoy.

I'm very probably going to purchase my first double bass bow tomorrow afternoon, yay.

I was listening to Yes today after a long time without doing so and I kinda have no interest in them anymore :/
