No prob. That's a PR album that has quickly risen in my ranks, stunning all the way. I felt their style and compositions would agree with you so just throwing 'em out there.

The ending was jarring at first, but now is quite interesting. I can't quote it directly at the moment but CSS apparently refers to a failed spaceship launch, and the whole song is just an analogy.

Wild Beasts was really cool. It felt like a cool blend of synthpop and EDM.
That Alt-J song was all over the place and I'll have to listen more to get a better grasp of it, but I really liked the heavier parts.
The last song reminded me of St. Vincent a lot.

The vocalists for Alt-J and Wild Beasts are both so entrancing to me, they're a big part of the appeal to the bands for me. Glad you listened to them, if you decide to check out the albums the artists put out this year, i'd love to hear what you think of em.

I wouldn't of thought to compare St. Vincent to Glasgow but i see the similarities now that you bring them up - especially the ending.

Sounds really cool, I'll have to look into it
Liars has become one of my favorite bands since discovering them this year.  Their prior album WIXIW (2012) is my favorite, it's really mellow and moody.

Paul McCartney still kicks ass.  The enormous back catalog of classics alone guarantees a good show, but he and his band really perform their asses off.

I know practically nothing about Paul McCartney but I'd probably see him if I had the chance.

I ran into Denny Walley and his wife Janet there too.  Denny used to play in Zappa's and Beefheart's bands in the 70s and I've hung out with him a handful of times.

Going to a Halloween party this Saturday. I think the last time I went to a party was in 7th or 8th grade and it was really bad cause everyone was a couple and kissing and there were like 5 high schoolers there getting drunk and trying to act cooler than all of us.

Cool!  As I previously said, I really enjoyed his show when I saw him here a few years ago.

Parquet Courts is releasing another album this year, although it seems like it's not meant to be "canon."

Then you can be one of those 5 high schoolers and act cooler than everyone.

Halloween is overrated anyway.
