Sometimes I juyst wish I was a baby. Babies have it easy. They have no very little responceablities and no punishments. And all you have to do when you feel bad is make a fit and  no ones gonna judge you for that cause you're a baby

You're 12/13.

I hardly think you should be complaining about "responceablities."

Hey don't get me wrong, I know I'm very privileged. I'm a white male middle class teenage boy, home schooled, parents are pretty liberal with rules, get to be on the internet for hours, gets enough money to buy a new album almost every week, ect. That doesn't stop me from being a winy, lazy kid who can't do the simplest tasks without a lot of effort.

Have you ever thought that because of your privileges you are the way you are? Not exactly an admirable description.

Yes. I think it's all made me lazy and unappreciative of the privileges I have

Maybe you should travel to Alaska alone and try to survive for a couple years, then come home and be grateful.

By doing it, you would become un-lazy.

That didn't end very well for Chris McCandless. Tongue

I am watching a very interesting series called The Occult History Of The Third Reich, which shows where the Nazis picked up a lot of their "Ideology" (if you could call their lies, half truths and deceptions an Ideology) from, the Occult teachings of Madame Blavatsky and Guido von Liszt. The swastika, the Eugenics concepts, the myth of the Aryan superman and the desire to subjugate and/or destroy all so called "inferior races"came from teachings of these two figures.
And the series points out how despite the "Progress" of the Industrial revolution and the advances of science and democracy, some people felt disollusioned and empty. And then came WW1 and the breakdown of Germany. A perfect cauldron for the racism and hatred of Hitler and his bunch.

Steve, are you familiar with the Swedish band Qoph?

Here is a really good song from their first album.  They sing in Swedish on their first album, but switched to English for their 2nd album.

No, I'm not, and I was just going to ask you about them since I saw you post them in the listening thread.  The cover reminds me a lot of Pot-head Pixie-era Gong.  I'll give the clip a listen!

That stuff is pretty cool.  Kinda prog folk, in a quirky eclectic sort of way.  Hard to pin down.

I am pretty worn out after that concert though.  And with the prior night being Halloween too.  I'm up for some vegging out by the tube tonight.
