I am f**king pissed at myself for trusting a friend again. He's the same guy who, due to "miscommunication', caused my company to essentially go bankrupt and have to cease operations for a while. Well, yesterday he puts me on some project with an urgent deadline which was also yesterday (without asking me how much time I had), so I spend all day on the computer being available because I don't know why I'm on the f**king project because there's so little work for me to do, I don't know what needs to be changed (despite asking question after question to figure out what he wants me to do) other than a few tiny things that take me less than an hour, yet I stay on the computer and cancel some plans yesterday to be available because the deadline is tight.

Today I get an e-mail that the app is not to standards so he is pissed and could I please withdraw my hours from yesterday because he is presenting it to a client morning and this is unnacceptable.

Hey buddy, if you have a huge important meeting, maybe give people direction, don't do it the day before, and if things go wrong, don't randomly blame a guy who had almost nothing to do and decide you're not going to pay him. I still don't even know why he put me on the f**king project.

Worst part is I'm supposed to work on another project for him today that's due tomorrow (this one he at least had the courtesy to ask if I was interested and available first), and I need the money, but I'm still strongly considering finding something else to do.

No sir.  You have much pissing to do!

I drank the nastiest concoction of olive oil and lemon juice to try to get the stone out yesterday and was in the bathroom all night. Stern Smile

Maybe I should have stayed in bed...

Hehe - well I´ve recently lost my claws due to too much washing up, but yeah pretty similarTongue
Good thing the wind blows like hell here, or I would be in bad shape. More of a viking - I´m much better in the cold.

Ugh, I don't even normally get angry and I hate feeling that way but I don't even know what to do right now. It's not even significant money, I only billed one hour, I'm more just mad at letting myself get sucked back into this kind of situation when I knew it would be like this from working with him before. I guess I just hoped things had gotten better there.

I know exactly what you mean. My roommate is like that... I guess one always hope the other person will finally come to his/her senses.

Just reviewed that - probably one of the worst albums I own...

Leng Tch'e sounds like a good album from what I've heard.
