Well my local shop was sold out of the new Godspeed album.  Been selling like hotcakes, apparently. Unhappy

So instead a got a couple of Clash CDs (to help fill out the collection) and the remastered Rain Dances CD by Camel, which I've never owned on CD (just vinyl) despite it being one of my favorite Camel albums.  This CD's selling point is a lengthy BBC concert tagged onto the end of the disc.

While I was out, I filled my car with gas, and must have gotten some gas on me because I can still smell it.

YEAH I GOT GAS

I always liked the smell of gas for some reason, I assume it's bad to inhale though.

I would enjoy owning a vial of gasoline-scented cologne without all the cancer

Listening to Rain Dances sounds like a plan.  No BBC Concert on my version however.

The new Rain Dances CD has the whole album (remastered) plus:

"Highways of the Sun" single version

1977 BBC "Sight and Sound" concert:

First Light
Metrognome
Unevensong
Skylines
Highways of the Sun
One of these Days I'll Get an Early Night

I sampled the concert portion in the car, and it sounded very good.

Nah, lame. The Sight and Sound concert should be the same that's been released in parts on the Footage DVD's and in full on the Moondances DVD. This audio version is missing five of the songs.

The Highways of the Sun bonus track was my pet peeve in the days before iPod. It was fun when the band's worst song started playing again after such an atmospheric finale as that album has.

Hmm, I'll have to check out the full version.  I've seen a Camel concert from this period before, but it was from 1976 (Moonmadness) I think, with a full Snow Goose and with Doug Ferguson still in the band.

Phish Live Bait Volume 8 is available for free download on the LivePhish website.  It doesn't seem to be downloading correctly for me however.

Volume 8 - that's the same one that's been available for a couple of months, isn't it?  I remember you alerted me to it.  Or is there a new one?

It looks like it might be.  I only have Volume 7 though, so I'm not sure if I just never downloaded Volume 8?
It does look like the same one that I mentioned before.  I just didn't have a copy of it on this computer. Embarrassed

Seen, like, live, really? Shocked

I'll get back to this tomorrow, now to bed. Bye.
