Eighteen, a beard and a moustache? You're gonna get there, buddy. I was 20 when I had my first facial hair experiments, perhaps not a raging success.

I actually tried moustache this summer, but it was still so pathetic after three weeks that I gave up.

Another guy that looks so great in beard and moustache is the old German conductor Hans Richter. Wish i had a picture to show you.

Wish i could grow one of my own, but my facial hair doesn't grow properly

I've got a stash that's just big enough to not be peach fuzz. Getting longer by the day.

I like it - it's got a cool, dark melody to it reminding me of the mellotron theme from Cirkus. Are you going to elaborate on it more? I wouldn't consider a song technically, with all due respect.

Oh yeah, more of a "work in progress". I just made it in like 20 minutes and that's what came out, so I've got some heavy elaboration/expansion to do (if I ever get to it).

Both guitarists in my old thrash metal band had the ability to grow a full beard when they were 15, it's outrageous

Friend of mine could grow a beard, albeit not terribly "full" in 7th grade, around 13/14. By the time he was in high school he would shave in the morning and by night it was already half-grown again. Man's a beast now. LOL

There's not much use for beards when you're that young except for tricking store clerks into selling you alcohol.

I had a full beard for a couple of years when I was in my twenties ("the Jam Band Years").  Also tried out a goatee for a while.  I do require a daily shave but I get away with shaving every 2 days because my job doesn't involve a lot of face to face time with anyone outside our office (which consists of 4 people).  When I do have big meetings, I make sure to shave and dress nice, but otherwise I'm kind of disheveled and gnarly.  And I work in the dark and listen to weird music as I work my magic for the company.

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle if it is lightly greased.

Or getting the ladies.. mhmn. Wink Cool I'm incapable of growing much facial hair - it's a shame really. I'd love to have full one when I'm older - it'd be so Post-Rock. Tongue

I think you should definitely put some more time into it. It already has enough substance to go somewhere - it'd be a shame not to make into a legitimate composition. I could almost see it progressing into a Krautrock style main section. Maybe some thumping, driving Holger bass in there too. What do you think? You're the captain. Big smile
