But you like different music to me, so I wouldn't expect you to agree with me. Wink

Haven't listened to it yet.
From what I've heard of it, I'd tend to agree with James.
Moving Pictures is horrible...
What is Amirite? LOL

I think Pink Floyd was the best album of the 80's. That's my answer for all musical favorite questions, Pink Floyd. It makes life simpler.

Oh gosh no... The Division Bell is probably worse than Moving Pictures (which I've not heard).

Obviously that means that I can lump you with James amongst people whose musical opinions mean very little to me.

Division Bell was 1994.

And we all know Porcupine Tree was the best album/band/prog idols of 1980s.

Wink

Ah, The Final Cut.  'tis an album I've not heard, I don't think but I notice many people dislike it immensely.

Yeah, it sounds mean, but maybe he just means that your taste in music is different than his, so your opinions are probably going to be different, which means that they aren't very useful to him.

I don't hate it, but it is not really my kind of Floyd.

If you list my number one all-time favorite album as horrible, that pretty much means that your musical opinion means nothing to me.  Plain and simple.  That is why you get lumped in with James.

By the way, it doesn't mean that I can't still be friends with you within the Shred Room and forums.  After all, I still mostly get along with James, even if our opinions of good music are quite different.

Mostly get along? Ermm

I actually don't hate Rush.  The albums I've heard aren't that bad.  There's a lot of other bands I dislike more than them.

I love Animals. And we all know that was a Waters album. TFC is just too much of the same thing, depressing tale of daddy issues and alienation. It also annoys me how PF are no more than session musicians.

You don't think that we mostly get along?  Is that an overstatement or an understatement?
