The Thessera album actually came in the mail yesterday. It was my December CD of the month from the ProgRock Records club, so it was my first listen to it this morning. My first impression of it was that it was pretty good. But, it will take more listens to form a better and more informed opinion. It is usually a good sign though, when I don't hate an album on the first listen. |
Glad you liked it!
One of my faves from 2006.
Promising debut, lacks a bit of maturity but I'm sure that will come in time.

Just listened to the new Karmakanic!!! As one of my friends here likes to quote me - I'm just stunned!!!!
For those into their genre of music -actually reminded me of where Genesis could have gone to had they remained prog!!!
Now listening to Nightwish - for the many who don't believe that they shouldn't be here - TOUGH!!!!!

Cacho, you're silly if you don't like this album: It's Dio at his best! But he's fantastic on pretty much every album i've heard from 1975-1984. Be it Rainbow, Black Sabbath or Dio.
